SNAGG: Social Networks and Ancient Greek Garrisons addresses the language of power and subjugation surrounding the critical ancient Greek office of the phrourarchia. Focusing on the interplay of imperial power and civic identity through a language of power and domination, SNAGG combines textual analysis, HGIS, SNA, and linked data to create an application that locates the phrourarchia within a broad geographic and social context.
